Medicinal leech, being a medicinal product, belongs to the group other live animals (code 0106), which is included in the list of controlled products subject to veterinary accompanying documents. According to Article 4 of Federal Law No. 243-FZ "On Amending the Law of the Russian Federation "On Veterinary" dated July 13, 2015 and Order No. 648 of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia dated December 18, 2015 from July 1, 2018, veterinary accompanying documents are issued in electronic form. JSC International Medical Leech Center, according to the above laws, works in the Mercury system and accompanies each batch of medical leeches with a veterinary certificate in electronic form.
